Message from the President

With a fantastic year as President entering the final quarter, I remain firm in my belief that, when it comes to talent and experience, we are one of the wealthiest chapters under the SHRM umbrella.  By far, the greatest benefit of chapter membership that we have is each other.  Fostering a chapter environment conducive to member networking has made this a very successful year.  We exceeded our primary objective.  We greet new faces at every meeting and hug members we haven't seen all year. 

Take full advantage of this member benefit.  Meet someone new and add to your network at all BSHRM and other events with our partner organizations.  Arrive early and/or stay late to mingle and network with others in YOUR HR family! Isn't it grand to be a part of something so diverse, stimulating, and exciting? The BSHRM family is outstanding- and growing every day.

I hope that you have had the pleasure of meeting each of your Board members this year.  Your Board of Directors works hard for you. Each member seeks out a new friend and volunteer at every meeting.  Get engaged.  Participate.  Volunteer.  Become a part of something great.

I have just one favor to ask of each of you.  If I don't personally know you yet, please step up and introduce yourself to me at the next meeting. If I do know you, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!
