IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR 2012
Chapter Dues
In an effort to bring our Chapter dues in line with regional averages and to maximize membership investment in our Chapter and in SHRM, the Board of Directors has voted unanimously to approve the following membership rate changes. Please note that this rate increase will not affect any Student members of BSHRM, nor will it affect Regular practicing HR members of BSHRM that are members of our national organization:
New: Beginning February 1, 2012
Regular: $75.00 with National SHRM Membership
Regular: $90.00 without National SHRM Membership
Associate: $90.00
Student/Retiree: $25.00
Luncheon Fees
The Chapter currently covers a portion of guest fees at Chapter Luncheons. In addition, late registrations from our members make it difficult to predict meeting attendance and control costs for the Chapter. Our goal is to cover the cost of our lunches and to encourage members to pre-register for our luncheons. We do not want to increase fees on students.
In addition, we want to keep our luncheon fees low for members that attend at least six luncheons per year. Be encouraged to purchase our new “bundle” of six (6) or nine (9) luncheons to keep your average luncheon cost at the $20 rate that you have been paying for the past few years.
New: Beginning February 1, 2012
Regular: $25.00 + $5.00 late fee ($5 increase)
Associate: $25.00 + $5.00 late fee ($5 increase)
Student/Retiree: $20.00 + $5.00 late fee (No Change)
Guests: $30.00 + $5.00 late fee ($5 increase)
Members-only Bundle**: $120 for six pre-purchased chapter luncheons

** These packages are non-transferable, non-refundable and chapter luncheons must be used by December 31st of each year.
