Message from the President
Wow! What an awesome 2009.
Hats off to Gini Bell, our Immediate Past President, for her superior leadership over the past 12-monhts. Her vision and dedication was instrumental in moving BSHRM to the next level. I intend to build upon her legacy of innovative programs and events that are now the standard for our chapter.
I’m truly honored to serve as President of such a phenomenal organization. Through our chapter, I’ve cultivated great partnerships and life long friendships with some of the brightest professionals in Birmingham. My personal hope is that you find what I found after becoming an active member of BSHRM; dedicated colleagues to whom I can easily turn to for encouragement, support and guidance.
During my term as President, I will work closely with our talented Board of Directors, astute Advisory Council and dedicated committee volunteers to continue our mission to serve and advance our admirable profession. Each entity working collaboratively will ensure our success and play a vital role in continuing BSHRM’s tradition as the leading chapter in Alabama.
So as we enter 2010, we invite you to continue to share your ideas, views and constructive feedback to allow us to serve you in a way that is most beneficial to your personal and professional growth.
