We are looking for a reliable Benefits Manager to manage all employee benefit programs, from leave of absence to retirement plans. Essentials of the Position Design and enhance existing benefit programs (insurance, wellness, etc.) Evaluate and negotiate with service providers; maintain effective relationships with external vendor partners Design and manage employee benefit education plans Manage enrollments and determine employee eligibility Manage open enrollment and benefit transition process for each new company acquisition Handle all benefit compensation and reimbursement procedures Coordinate leaves of absence and educate people on intermingled benefit options (e.g. worker’s compensation, short/long-term disability insurance, etc.) Maintain current employee records with all relevant and benefit-impacting information (marital status, years of service, hours worked, qualifying life event documentation, etc.) Educate employees of their benefit options and plans and monitor use Assist Payroll Administrator in managing the interfaces between UltiPro and our benefit providers Collaborate with finance team for payments, deductions, and invoice reconciliations Comply with local, state, and federal payroll regulations

Essential Knowledge Broad knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations Broad knowledge of company acquisitions and the impact to current and future benefit programs Experience with UltiPro, ADP, Workday, and/or other payroll/benefits systems

Essential Skills Customer focused Ability to work until expectations are met or exceeded Extremely self-motivated, goal oriented Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients Demonstrated ability to collaborate with people in all levels of the organization Highly analytical thinker and problem solver Strong project and time management skills with ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to closure Strong leadership and navigation skills Technologically agile – you learn new software easily (examples: #Slack, Gmail, MS Office Suite, Salesforce, etc.) Exceptionally skilled in MS Excel or Google Sheets (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)

Essential Experience 10+ years managing a multi-state benefits program 5+ years Acquisition and benefit conversion experience
