Director of Human Resources Proxsys Rx is a rapidly growing pharmacy solutions company, located in Birmingham, AL, that operates outpatient retail pharmacies on various local and multi-state hospital campuses. We are searching for a highly motivated, independent, hands on Director of Human Resources to join the leadership team of Proxsys Rx. This position has a wide range of responsibilities in developing, handling and improving HR/systems to include recruiting, compensation, payroll, benefits, employee and labor relations; providing managers/staff with procedures, guidance, support and information; and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

The successful candidate must have experience in all general aspects of HR to include, payroll, benefits, recruitment, employee relations, policy and procedures as well as: • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business or a related field • 3-5 years of progressive, professional level HR experience required • HR experience in a health care related industry preferred • HR certification preferred • Must have ability to react to frequent changes, needs and volume of work; basic daily “hands on” HR tasks is a part of the work load • Must be highly organized and efficient; must have strong written and verbal communication skills • Must have ability to make judgments and good decisions, solve problems and offer solutions in demanding situations • Some travel required
